Johnathan TothA Toledo man is behind bars and facing felony charges for using fluids as a weapon against a Toledo police officer.
Police say Johnathan Toth put up quite the struggle to avoid an arrest, including kicking, screaming, and even spitting on an officer.
According to police, Toth was weaving in and out of traffic on Bennett Road near Eleanor Avenue in west Toledo when they pulled him over. Police noticed slurred speech and fumbling, so they gave him a field sobriety test, which he failed. Police say he then became very aggressive, swinging at and pulling away from officers, forcing officers to wrestle with him to gain control. That's when police say he spat right in the face of one the officers before being taken into custody.
Toth is in the Lucas County Jail and facing fifth-degree felony charges.
