2 sent to hospital after car crashes into tree in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Police are investigating a single-car crash on Cambridge Street in Springfield Monday that sent two people to the hospital.

The car went into a tree at 6:19 p.m. on Bay Street.

Springfield firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to get the people out. There's no word on their condition.
