Because of the weather, Toledo Police are now operating on Phase 2. This means they are only responding to injury accidents, or accidents where the vehicles are not driveable.
If anyone is involved in an accident during Phase 2 that does not meet those requirements, drivers are asked to exchange contact and insurance information and get in touch with Toledo Police at a later time to report the accident.
This is a common practice for TPD so they don't get bogged down dealing with the minor issues.
