Tyler Police have released the name of the woman killed in a one vehicle accident.

Eugenia Matthews, 30, of Whitehouse was killed when the vehicle she was driving struck a pole at the intersection of Old Jacksonville Highway and SW Loop 323 around 9 p.m., Wednesday.

Matthews was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other occupants of the vehicle.
