Firefighters battled a house fire in central Toledo early Tuesday morning.
According to officials with 911 dispatch, the fire began around 3:30 a.m., at a home on the 1900 block of Calumet Avenue.
Fire crews were able to quickly put out the blaze, but smoke continues to linger.
Investigators say the home is occupied, but no one was home at the time. The same house has been broken into several times in the past few weeks, according to the fire chief.
There was some damage to the side of a home next door. The resident was able to get out unharmed.
Traffic in the area is not affected, except the immediate block where firefighters are working.
