Driver knocks pole over in west Toledo - ToledoNewsNow.com: News, Weather & Sports for Toledo, OH

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - A woman is recovering in the hospital after police say she smashed her car into a pole at Dorr Street and Waverly Avenue.

Police say she was traveling westbound on Dorr Street and veered left of center, striking a pole and sheering it off.

Crews took her to the hospital, and tell us she was pretty shaken up, but doesn't know why she lost control.

Toledo Edison crews were immediately on the scene to remove the damaged pole.
