Two Toledo women have become Internet sensations.
They made a post this past week on the website Reddit.
It's been picked up by other sites, gone viral, and has reportedly gotten a half million hits.
The post is an inspiring cheat sheet Kerstyne Kromer put together for her best friend Joleen Delgado.
Two years ago, a medical mishap left Joleen hospitalized with permanent short term memory loss.
She kept asking Kerstyne the same questions over and over again.
Kerstyne printed up the questions and their answers - a cheat sheet - and taped them to Joleen's hospital bed.
"I tried to inject a little humor so she would read it and not be freaked out because I can't imagine what it's like waking up and not knowing where you are or why," said Kerstyne.
"Putting a little bit of laughter into things can take a situation that's very scary and dark and put a little light into it," added Joleen.
Joleen wanted to know where she was, what day it was, how long she'd been sick and what was wrong with her.
But some of the questions were funny.
"What is with the hospital floor? I don't know what her fascination with the floor was. But it was, honest to God, she kept asking about the floor, kept commenting about it," said Kerstyne.
If you look around Joleen's house, you'll see notes and lists posted everywhere. That's typical for someone living with short term memory loss.
The married mother of four goes to cognitive therapy class once a week.
"My doctors have said I'm never going to be as healthy as I was before, but they hope that I will continue to make progress," said Joleen.
And a big part of that progress includes a supportive family and hanging around a funny friend who created that cheat sheet.
