Money approved for armed police in Newtown schools

NEWTOWN, CT (WFSB) -

More security could be coming to schools in Newtown.

The Newtown Board of Finance unanimously agreed to spend more than $400,000 for armed police at its elementary schools.

The town budget still needs to be voted on and go through the City Council.
