Former University of Toledo Quarterback Bruce Gradkowski has signed a deal to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A three year starter at UT, Gradkowski was taken in the 6th round of the 2006 NFL draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He made his NFL debut just 5 games into the 2006 season.
Since that time, Gradkowski has played for the St. Louis Rams, the Cleveland Browns, the Oakland Raiders and most recently the Cincinnati Bengals.
Gradkowski will reportedly serve as Ben Roethlisberger's backup in Pittsburgh, as current Steelers QBs Byron Leftwich and Charlie Batch are not expected to resign with the team.
