SYLVANIA, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Downtown Sylvania is
getting another business, hoping to attract a crowd that loves grilled cheese
sandwiches.
A new Paddy Jack's will
soon open at 5629 Main Street.
The unique sandwich
restaurant is owned and operated by a group of local investors. They opened
last year in August at their Central Avenue location, and have quickly become a
favorite in the community.
Paddy Jack's Manager
Jennifer Hurst said they will focus on to-go orders and lunch crowds at their
new location, and they aren't slowing down anytime soon.
"The plan is the next
location is off of US-23," Hurst said. "It's the old fire house 47…[We're
trying to cover] the Toledo surrounding area, northwest Ohio and into Michigan
is the plan. Eventually a franchise."
They are also working on a
new menu. Paddy Jack's currently offers 30 different kinds of grilled cheese
sandwiches, but will soon offer over 40.
