WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Moisture moves in again this afternoon and a rain chances will quickly increase today.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop and move from west to east across our area. A few storms could be strong, and some rainfall will be heavy. Clouds will increase through the afternoon, and high temperatures will reach the low 90s. Winds will be light throughout the day out of the west/southwest.
Tonight, evening thunderstorms will slowly come to an end, and then skies will be partly cloudy overnight with a slight chance for isolated rainfall. Low temperatures will be in the 70s, and winds will be light out of the west.
Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. Some rainfall will be heavy. Highs around 90 degrees.
Friday, partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. Highs around 90.
Saturday, partly sunny with isolated rainfall possible. Highs in the low 90s.
Sunday, partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. Highs around 90 degrees.
Monday, partly sunny with a few showers and thunderstorms possible. Highs in the low 90s.
We are watching a system in the tropics which could become a depression either today or tomorrow. The models have the disturbance moving west just north of Puerto Rico, but it's too far out to know what effects, if any, it will have on our area.
