The Longview Municipal Court is calling their three week warrant round-up a success.
According to Municipal Court Director Sally Rees, the round-up cleared 1,945 warrants, collecting $452,062.93. 197 arrests were made, but 54 were brought to court to pay instead of being booked into jail.
The majority of the warrants were cleared when the defendant came to the court office to take care of the warrant.
As of Wednesday, there are still 15,456 active warrants in Longview worth a total of $7.82 million.
