Our day in NYC started with a cab ride from LaGuardia Airport to midtown Manhattan. As you can imagine, the hustle and bustle was impressive!
We are staying in Times Square, about ten minutes from where the New York International Auto Show will be held.
The Jacob Javits Convention Center, where the NYIAS will be held. The two-day media preview begins tomorrow morning.
Very cool...we aren't far from the Empire State Building. What a view from the auto show! Not much sun today but 50 degrees suits us just fine!
We found this when we walked into the convention center...the Toledo-made Jeep Cherokee will be unveiled tomorrow afternoon at 1:45. No pictures of it yet, but we were looking for one!

There is an extensive Jeep display outside the Convention Center. No Cherokees here but several other Jeep models are here. It is easy to see that Jeep has a prominent role here at the auto show.
From Toledo to NYC...Jeep is a part of American lore.

The new Jeep Cherokee-- unveiled this afternoon here at the New York International Auto Show. A dramatic presentation kicked off a new era for Toledo, which will see 1100 new jobs.
