The Village of Ottawa is
just a few months away from building a new health campus for seniors.
The new Trilogy Elder Care
Center will be located on Putnam Parkway near Locust Street, and construction
is set to start this summer.
Village officials are
still figuring out the details. They aren't sure yet if the facility will be a
nursing home or assisted living facility, but they say they're excited about
bringing more living arrangement options to their senior community.
The new center is expected
to help keep the village's population consistent, and keep taxpayers from leaving
to larger cities.
Site plans will be
presented to village officials April 19.
