The event was open to the public and took place at the Madison food service facility.

In south Toledo music echoed through the halls of the Stranahan Theater.

The performance was part of an Easter service.

Leaders at the Church of the Cross, just about a mile away on Cass road, decided they needed to take their service to the next level.

"There are many Christians who aren't actively involved in the life of a church and we were really just trying to provide a place where people could come and really celebrate the excitement and the joy of Easter in an awesome setting," said Rev. Steve Judson, the lead pastor at the Church of the Cross.

The pastor estimates that as many as 600 people took part in the service today.
