Billboards encourage readers to help 'save' the paper
The Plain Dealer
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
The Cleveland Plain Dealer has announced big changes.
Beginning late this summer, the paper is scaling back home delivery to 3-days a week. All 3-day home delivery subscriptions will include access to the 7-day e-edition. The new home delivery schedule does include Sundays.
The paper will continue to be published in print seven days a week.
The Plain Dealer has been struggling financially for months. Signs were placed around the city asking readers to help save the paper.
Thursday's announcement brings The Plain Dealer in line with several other papers owned by Advance Publications, which have also scaled back home deliveries.
