Former Cincinnati mayor Jerry Springer is getting a new television show.
The Investigation Discovery Network says that Springer will host a new program entitled 'Tabloid.'
The weekly series will look at some of the bizarre stories in the tabloids found in supermarket checkout lines.
The network says Springer was a natural choice because he is no stranger to over-the-top characters.
The series will debut early next year.
