TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -
The autopsy results for Millard Williams have not found a cause of death yet.
Toledo Police say the body of 76-year-old Williams was found in a field in the 1600 block of Mulberry Street near Mulberry Park. Police say the body was found by two children walking in the area.
An autopsy was conducted Saturday. Coroner Dr. James Patrick found no evidence of trauma, and ordered a toxicology study to determine cause of death. Toxicology studies typically take about six weeks.
According to Williams' roommate, he left his home on Page Street just after 4 p.m. Sunday.
Police say Williams was found with his wallet and other personal effects, and no foul play is suspected in his death. Police will await a report from the Lucas County Coroner's Office before making a final determination on what happened to Williams.
According to police, Williams had a history of dementia, diabetes and other medical problems. It is unclear what role those issues may have played in his death.
