TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Tricia Cullop will remain a Rocket, at least for the time being.

The University of Toledo Women's coach had interviewed for the head coaching job at Ohio State University, but has been informed she will not get the job. An announcement about who the Buckeyes will hire is expected Tuesday.

After telling Toledo News Now's Jordan Strack she would not be the next OSU women's coach, Cullop tweeted "To end all speculation…I am a Rocket!" just before noon Tuesday.

In 5 seasons with UT, Cullop has won 2 Mid American Conference championships, 4 MAC West Division championships and the 2011 WNIT title.

Cullop came to Toledo in 2008, taking over a program on the heels of 5 consecutive losing seasons. Since then, the Lady Rockets are 125-44 under Cullop.
