BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) -
A new development is
coming to downtown Bowling Green. A CVS store is set to go up on West Wooster
The CVS is making a return
after leaving several years ago for financial reasons. The building will be
approximately 13,000 square feet, and sit adjacent to downtown Bowling Green.
It will replace vacant buildings.
Currently the CVS is not
scheduled to be open 24 hours, but is expected to be competition for the Rite
Aid and Walgreens in the city.
Officials say the store
will help serve a new clientele.
"Due to this location, it
might have a different clientele, since it's not far from BGSU," said Heather
Sayler, planning director for the city. "It will service more of the downtown
area, where we have more of a commercial area."
Demolition of current
buildings is expected to start the second week of May, and the store is
expected to open mid-November.
