TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Two robberies were
committed in Toledo Thursday afternoon. Now Toledo Police need help finding who
The incidents happened
within an hour of each other, but police don't believe they are connected.
The Dollar General store
on the 200 block of New Town Square was robbed shortly after 3 p.m. The suspect
was described as a white male with brown hair, wearing a flannel jacket and red
shirt. He told the clerk he had a gun and demanded money.
He made his getaway in a
burgundy Dodge truck.
About an hour later, the
Family Dollar store in the 5100 block of Suder. The suspect there is a black
male, about 5-foot-9, medium build, wearing jeans and a white hooded
sweatshirt. Police say he flashed a gun and demanded money. He fled on foot
with the cash.
