Jimmy Haslam held a 4 p.m. Friday in the boardroom at the Pilot Flying J headquarters in Knoxville, Tenn.

In the press conference, Haslam said that he's not stepping down as President and will continue to cooperate with investigators.

He added that Pilot Flying J has always been run with integrity and will continue to do so.

Despite the investigation, Pilot Flying J had an excellent sales week.

The question of the day is: What was the FBI looking for when it raided the headquarters of Jimmy Haslam's Pilot Flying J?

Haslam's truck stops offer rebates to it's larger customers. What is detailed in the affidavit is the thought that customers were intentionally cheated on their rebates.

Haslam's Pilot Flying J is an industry leader in a business that sells to truckers who use huge amounts of fuel. The rebates are a way to attract customers. But the documents Reporter Paul Orlousky reviewed show a pattern, a culture, of not paying full rebates and targeting customers not sophisticated enough to catch on.

According to a conversation recorded by an FBI informant inside, he knew about a trucking company that caught on to it's being shortchanged.

Haslam employee: "I called Jimmy. I got busted at Western Express."

FBI informant: "What'd he say?"

Haslam employee: "Oh, he knew it. I mean, he knew all along that I was cost plussin this guy - he knew all along. Loved it. We were making $450,00 a month on him."

In a written statement, Haslam said, in part, "I've read the affidavits. I now understand more clearly the questions the federal investigators are exploring."

When the trucking company found out, it demanded Flying J buy it's out of repair airplane for a million dollars. The employee is quoted as saying since Flying J had made $6M on the trucking firm, the million was a great investment.
