There are big changes in the look of All Saints Catholic School in Rossford.
It's all an effort to promote the value of Catholic education.
The unveiling of a new logo and school colors took place Friday afternoon at a pep rally that included a balloon drop.
The logo is built out of four "A's" to form a cross.
The color purple represents spiritual fulfillment and gold represents generosity.
School officials say this branding is designed to attract parents who are looking for a school that immerses students not only in academics but also in service, creativity and compassion.
"It just gives us something to really define-more than just a logo-but who we are as a Catholic school in this community," said principal Sister Marie Christine Cervi.
Enrollment in Toledo Catholic Schools has slowly declined.
District officials say something like a new brand will turn the tide, emphasizing a Catholic identity during a time of change in the church.
"I think it's indicative in the decline of religious practice in the United States, not just in the Catholic church but in many denominations with fewer people attending Mass. That filters down into ministries of the church too," said Diocese Superintendent Chris Knight.
Kids at All Saints are excited about the change.
Each one received a T-shirt with the new logo and posed for class pictures.
"I love it. It really enhances the school. It makes it a lot better. Makes school more enjoyable for the kids too," said student Nate Ellis.
