SYLVANIA, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Sylvania Police are actively looking for the person responsible for robbing a Subway sandwich shop.
It happened around 10:30 Friday morning at the Subway store on Monroe St. near Corey Road.
Police say this suspect could be dangerous.
Police say the man never showed a weapon but implied to employees that he had one.
Witnesses say they saw the suspect run north, but the description of the man was very vague.
Sylvania Police say this man could be responsible for more robberies in the city of Toledo.
They are working on verifying that with Toledo Police right now.
Police say the suspect is still on the run and they are urging everyone to be cautious.
"We would ask any citizens to not approach this suspect. If they have an idea who this person is or if they see someone matching the description, contact law enforcement and we'll take it from there," said Operations Captain, Rick Schnoor.
