charities involved in the Marathon Classic golf tournament.
people know it as the Jamie Farr Classic, but this year, it's the Marathon
Classic, presented by Owens Corning and Owens Illinois.
the last 28 years, the best women golfers around the world have come to play
the Classic, and today it was announced that so far, eight of the top 10
players on the current LPGA Money List are committed to compete at the Marathon
includes Toledo native Stacey Lewis.
Classic not only generates millions of dollars in revenue each year for the
local economy, but net proceeds are donated to northwest Ohio children's
charities. Over $7 million have been donated since the tournament's inception
