Police say 19-year-old Ravon Lynette Spencer ran into traffic in the southbound lanes of I-75 just north of Collingwood Boulevard around 1 p.m. Tuesday. Witnesses told police it appeared Spencer was trying to run in front of a semi truck, but instead hit the side and fell back onto the shoulder of the right hand lane.
Spencer was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police say she was alert and talking while being transported.
