of people in need is asking for the community's support as they work to stock
The Together We Can Make a
Difference Initiative is gathering personal hygiene items, like shampoo and
toothpaste. They run completely off donations, and could use some help.
Families in need can come by
the office in Napoleon every two weeks to pick up basic items. Organizers say
the service is extremely beneficial to people in the community because, for
some, it's the only place they can go for personal care items.
"They come in and they never
thought they'd be in this situation," said Executive Director Kelli Burkhardt. "We
keep telling them, ‘It's okay.' The economy is getting better and jobs are

The organization also helps
people get their GEDs.
