OTTAWA, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Authorities have canceled an Amber Alert issued out of Putnam County Thursday morning, but say two boys are still missing. One of the boys has been found, but it is unclear which one at this time.
The alert was issued for Blake Aaron Romes, 17, Michael Aaron Fay, 17, and Blaine Romes, 14 around 11 a.m. Thursday. A few hours later the vehicle involved, a silver 2006 Chevy HHR, was found in the Columbus area. Columbus Police say one person was found inside, but did not say if it was one of the missing boys.
Just after 3 p.m. Thursday the alert was officially canceled, and police said two "individuals" would be "entered as missing endangered children."
WBNS in Columbus is reporting that one person has been detained in the case.
-Blake Romes is described as a white male, 6 feet 1 inches tall, weighing 230 pounds with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes.
-Fay is a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds and has blonde or strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes.
-Blaine Romes is a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with blonde or strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes.
All three were last seen at Ottawa's El Crest manufactured home community in Lot 61, located at 1570 North Perry Street.
