Toledo Police need help
identifying several suspects responsible for beating up a 14-year-old boy and
taking his bike.
It happened at the In and
Out on Lewis Avenue near West Laskey.
A clerk told police the
suspects were acting suspicious in the store, so she asked them to leave. That's
when she says the group went up to a boy outside, told him they were in a gang,
punched him and stole his bike.
Security cameras caught
the suspects in the store, and later on a TARTA bus, shortly after the attack.
"He got confronted by
these five individuals, and then punched in the head twice," said Sgt. Joe
Heffernan of the Toledo Police. "These are a group of young men we need to get
off the streets, and they need to answer for this crime so it doesn't happen to
