When disaster strikes, ISOH/IMPACT's Bucket Brigade readies an immediate response to reach out to those whose lives have been uprooted and thrown into chaos. The recent outbreak of severe weather in the Midwest has left homes destroyed, communities in crisis, and lives changed forever.
Because of ongoing support, ISOH/IMPACT has bucketed kits of relief supplies to distribute throughout the affected areas.
You can help assist victims of these recent storms, as well as other local, national and worldwide disaster victims 24/7 by making a cash or credit card contribution to ISOH/IMPACT's Disaster Relief Fund, located at 25182 W. River Road in Perrysburg. You can also help by donating a bank or gift card, volunteering at the Waterville distribution center, or joining the Bucket Brigade.
When you fill a new 5-gallon lidded bucket with cleaning supplies, personal care items, first aid supplies, pet supplies or canned and nonperishable food items, you offer immediate relief to families taking the first step toward recovery.
ISOH/IMPACT also accepts other relief items, such as paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, disposable tableware, laundry detergent, new tents, tarps, brooms, mops, rakes, shovels, box fans, shop vacs and generators. Please do not donate glass items or clothing. Bottled water is not needed at this time.
Donations can be dropped off at any Toledo area Tireman Auto Service Center or at ISOH/IMPACT's Distribution Center, located at 905 Farnsworth Road in Waterville. There is a P.O.D.S. container onsite at the Distribution Center for 24/7 drop-offs.
For large-scale, corporate and manufacturing donations, contact the ISOH/IMPACT offices to make the necessary arrangements.
In addition to ISOH/IMPACT, donations can be made to the Red Cross. The Red Cross is already on the ground in Oklahoma, helping.
To donate, visit their website here, or text "REDCROSS" to 90999 to give $10 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief.
