TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A shooting Monday afternoon sent one man to the hospital, and police are searching for the person responsible.

Just after 1:30 p.m. Monday, police say two brothers, Anthony and Michael Lawrence, were driving down Heston Street, at Belmont. Michael says his brother was driving when they were blocked by a small, black SUV.

Michael told police the car, which may have been a Dodge Caliber, had four black males in it, and one of them fired at the car he and his brother were in.

Anthony pulled up to Fire Station 16 on Dorr Street needing help. A firefighter at Station 16 says he believes Anthony was shot three times. According to the police report, he was shot in the left arm and leg, and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The report also says the vehicle was shot eight times.
