WOOD COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -
The Ohio State Highway Patrol tells Toledo News Now a bus and car crashed at mile marker 173 on northbound I-75, just south of Bowling Green and near North Baltimore. It happened just after 10:30 P.M. Tuesday night.
I-75 northbound lanes were closed at that marker. The highway re-opened within two hours.
Police on the scene say the bus was a work bus, transporting employees of the Consolidated Biscuit Company - also known as the Cookie Factory - in McComb.
Police say the bus rear-ended a Toyota Camry. All five people, including two infants, in the Camry were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Twenty-nine people on the bus were hurt, including one person who was transported by medical helicopter to the hospital. None of the injuries, however, seem to be life threatening.
