A 12-year-old girl shot and wounded Sunday evening by stray gunfire at a Cleveland east side park is recovering.
The gunfire hit young Toni Landers in the chest, and she was rushed by a private auto to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. Toni underwent surgery Sunday evening and it currently stable.
According to witnesses, just before the shooting one of the gunmen yelled, "get down and cover your heads!"
We've learned investigators found three different kinds of shell casings at the scene from a .45, a 9 millimeter, and a .380 handgun.
At least three gunmen were involved in a shootout. So far, no arrests have been made.
