Summerfair 2013 will bring over 300 fine artists and craftspeople to the area from around the country. Patrons can enjoy four stages of local and regional entertainers, a variety of food vendors and a youth arts area featuring hands-on activities and entertainment for children.
The Little Black Dress Event, a fundraiser fashion show, takes place on Friday, May 31 from 7-11 p.m. The show features little black dresses from local boutiques and one-of-a-kind jewelry and accessories from Summerfair artists.
Tickets for Summerfair are $10 and children 12 and under get in free.Little Black Dress Event tickets are $15 online at 2013LBD.EventBrite.com or $20 (cash only) at the West Gate entrance the night of the event. Parking is free with tickets.
Hours are Friday, May 31 from 2 to 8 p.m., Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ticket proceeds from Summerfair and Little Black Dress Event serve as Summerfair Cincinnati's primary fundraiser for the non-profit organization's year-round support of individual artists and arts organizations in Greater Cincinnati. Summerfair drew record breaking crowds last year of over 25,000 patrons, allowing Summerfair Cincinnati to donate about $85,000 in awards since June of last year.
