WOOD COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -
A new health center just opened in Wood County. The Stony Ridge Community Health Services will provide an array of services regardless of patients' financial situation.
They're focused on serving anyone who lives in Wood County and don't require insurance for their services.
The new building is 7,000 square feet and has nine exam rooms which includes a full service lab. The center will also provide family practice services all the way through geriatric care. In addition, community members will be able to use the conference room for special meetings free of charge.
This new addition will make the ninth location for community health services based in the Fremont area.
The CEO of Stony Ridge Community Health Services Joe Liszak said,
"There are a lot of small towns with unmet needs," said Liszak. "Even though Bowling Green is the largest community, we wanted to serve not only Bowling Green but some of the outlying communities also."
