MAUMEE, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Lucas County Sheriff John Tharp says a second suspect has been arrested in the homicide of a local businessman.
James Allen, 18, of Toledo, was arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated murder in Maumee Municipal Court for the murder of James Safadi, 34, in his Waterville residence May 18.
Allen is expected to be arraigned some time Wednesday.
Ronald Rooker was arrested Monday by Lucas County Sheriff's Detectives on the same charge and is currently in custody on a $5 million bond.
Officials at the Lucas County Sheriff's Office say they are currently looking for two more suspects in the case.
Safadi was shot three times: once in each leg and once in the chest. His girlfriend told police three males broke into their home, stealing an undisclosed amount of money and a ring off her finger. According to a source close to the investigation, seven handguns were also stolen, along with a large amount of ammunition.
