The Talbert House, a non-profit that provides services to children, adults and families in hopes of solving social problems, celebrated fathers throughout the Tri-State.
The organization held its fifth annual Fatherhood Celebration Luncheon on Wednesday at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The Talbert House believes one of the foundations of a strong community is great fathers and serves many through its Fatherhood Project, a program that helps men become more responsible, committed and nurturing dads.
The Fatherhood Project provides access to resources and education to help those dads strengthen their connection and involvement in the lives of their children.
Two fathers were honored at Wednesday's luncheon, Cincinnati Reds CEO Bob Castellini and Lawrence Jennings, a graduate of the program.
The annual luncheon hoped to raise about $155,000, which is only one-third of the Fatherhood Project's yearly operating budget.
