Dewayne Thompson, wanted in the wounding and kidnapping of 17-year-old Katelyn Beard, has been captured by Jackson Police. He was taken into custody around 5:45 in west Jackson near where Beard's vehicle was found earlier today.

A burning cross, a Smith county man beaten and shot by a family member, and in critical condition. We are told this is much more than a family feud, and outraged family members are calling it a "hate crime."
Two people are in critical condition at
Toledo hospital after a crash on US-23 near Summerfield Rd. in Michigan.
The accident happened at 2:49pm Friday
Monroe County Sheriff's Office says Timothy
N. Kreps, age 66, of Toledo, OH was driving a mini-van in the southbound lanes
of US-23 when he was rear-ended by a car being driven by Seth M. Winter, age 23, also from Toledo.
Mr. Winter was taken by air
ambulance to Toledo Hospital.
A passenger in the mini-van,
David W. Dickson, age 65, of Youngsville, PA was
also transported to Toledo Hospital and is also listed in critical condition.
Mr. Kreps was taken to the
hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Mr. Winter was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the
