TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -
"The Traveling Wall" is on its way to another destination after spending several days in the Glass City. It serves as a moving memorial to honor those who served in the Vietnam conflict. The traveling wall came into town last week and left Sunday evening.
The City of Toledo posted a time lapse video of the motorcycle escort when the wall came into town. There were a total of 1,975 motorcycles that participated in escorting the wall from Toledo Express Airport to International Park. The original video lasted 30 minutes and the creator condensed it to just over two minutes.
It's a unique way of showing just how many people made the Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall memorial a success.
