With the opening of a new storage and workshop facility in Oregon, a local organization is celebrating 15 years of working to get young people off the streets and into the boxing ring.
The International Boxing Club works with area youth at risk for getting caught up in gang activity and other trouble. Its goal is to provide a safe environment for kids to exercise and focus on academics.
IBC's new training facility located at its headquarters, 525 Earlwood Avenue, will house a Vocational Training Program offered free to kids 8-18 years old who are a part of the IBC.
Amanda St. Hilaire takes a tour of the new facility and shows why the program is an gem to the community on ‘Your Morning,' beginning at 5:30 a.m.
