Central Catholic's DeShone Kizer has made up his mind. And it didn't take him that long either.
Less than a week after he was offered a scholarship by the University of Notre Dame, the Irish star quarterback is staying Irish by making a verbal commitment to the University of Notre Dame.
Kizer had a number of offers from Big Ten schools on the table as well as offers from LSU and Tennessee but made his final decision after visiting South Bend this past weekend.
Kizer is coming off a spectacular junior season in which he led Central Catholic to the Division II state title. He also plays on the Irish basketball and baseball teams with a 3.4 G.P.A.
