Davis-Besse nuclear power plant has been a landmark in Oak Harbor for nearly 40
years. It is continuously inspected over the course of a year to make sure it
is performing to government standards.

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in 2012. For the most part, officials
say it is performing as expected, but there were eight issues discovered.
