BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Bowling Green Police are investigating the suspicious death of a former BGSU professor, and they're waiting on toxicology reports to see if foul play was involved.

It's been more than a month since 66-year-old Dawn Glanz passed away, and police are investigating the irregularities in the case.

"We were surprised, shocked, because I knew she never had any health issues and she was only in her 60s," said one neighbor. "I was just thinking, ‘Wow, she's so young to just all of a sudden die.'"

Glanz's neighbor wanted to remain anonymous, but she says in the past eight years, Glanz and her husband Robert Brown never lived together.

"They were always very cordial," the neighbor said. "I never saw any issues between the two of them."

Brown was questioned by police but is now declining other interviews.

Police say no suspects have been named.

According to court documents, Brown planned an estate sale for Glanz's possessions, but her family filed a restraining order to prohibit that.

"I just hope it was natural causes," Glanz's neighbor said.

The Wood County Coroner says the cause of death is still pending.
