MAUMEE, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Shopping at Maumee's new antique and collectible mall may be the closest thing we have to finding buried treasure. The store, which just opened Monday, gives 40 different dealers the opportunity to sell a wide variety of collectibles, antiques, art and home décor in the same place.
Located on Reynolds Road, the aptly named ‘Great Finds' boasts a show floor space that spans across more than 9,000 square feet. The store itself showcases a variety of items ranging from early-American to mid-century modern collectibles, including a Victorian sofa dating back to 1860.
Co-owner James Valentine had a store in downtown Toledo before he decided to move to Maumee. "It's only us three people now, but as we expand business here, we're going to be able to hire a few more people," said Valentine.
Great Finds has just a few vendor spots open. If you're interested, you can contact James Valentine at 419-887-0916.
