(Toledo News Now) -
On August 1 there is a chance that the WTOL 11 signal will no longer be available on Dish Network. Raycom Media, the owner of WTOL 11, has been negotiating for some time with Dish Network, but a new deal has not been reached.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. We, at WTOL 11, appreciate your loyal viewership. Know that we are doing everything possible to prevent the WTOL 11 signal disruption from happening. It is frustrating, we get that.
Raycom is asking Dish Network to agree to a deal that is fundamentally similar to deals that are in place with other providers serving northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.
Should the WTOL 11 signal disruption occur on Dish Network, you have choices. The WTOL 11 signal is always free over-the-air, and WTOL 11 has agreements with other providers.
If you choose, you can call Dish Network at 1-800-823-4929 and tell them how you feel. Your voice could make a huge difference.
