(WMC-TV) - A viewer fed up with the overgrown weeds and vegetation near her property made a phone call to the Action News 5 Investigators about the problem. Now, action is being taken.
Theresa Duncan has lived in her home near the railroad tracks on East Homes Road since 1988. She is tired of looking at the overgrown weeds in the neighborhood, but she did not know where to turn for help.
It turns out that the property belongs to Canadian National Railway Company and the maintenance of that property was slim to none. Until now.
Action News 5's Andrew Douglas took a camera to the area to see just how bad the weeds were... and already, crews are taking action to fix the problem. How did this happen? Tune into AN5 at 5 p.m. to hear this story from beginning to end.
