Napoleon school district is one step closer to building a brand new elementary
school after purchasing land needed for it.
new school will be built off Westmooreland Avenue near the current high school
in Napoleon, and where the new junior high addition will be built.
all part of a restructuring plan in the district, which Superintendent Dr.
Stephen Fogo says will not only save on operation costs, but also provide new
opportunities for students.
gives us a district campus feel, so they’re right across the street from each
other,” Dr. Fogo said. “One of the things we’re hoping that our kids in the
high school choose to do during a study hall is walk right across the street
and work with our little pumpkins at the elementary school. Then they can get
back in time for their next class.”
