local governments, and schools can expect to see some extra money thanks to the
Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation's "Billion Back" plan.
bureau has saved more money over the last three years than what they expected
by investing premiums from employers, so Gov. Kasich decided to refund a billion
dollars of it back to employers of the state.
City of Toledo received $2 million last week, and on Monday, the Toledo Zoo
received their own hefty check.
a check for $135,000 to help offset those costs is huge for us," said Jeff
Saier, with the Toledo Zoo. "It's going to go to offset our workman comp
payments this year."

that money. The checks will be sent out over the next three weeks.
