Police in Shelby Township, Michigan have released 911 calls from neighbors who reported seeing a military vehicle mounted with a machine gun driving around on the Fourth of July.
The armor-plated military-type vehicle had a modified World War II .50-caliber machine gun.
The gun had been converted to fire compressed gas, which produced bright flashes and loud gunfire sounds.
No one was hurt, but police confiscated the vehicle and its mounted weapon after responding to multiple calls.
Charges are pending against the unnamed suspect.
