SENECA COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Seneca County has been placed under a level 2 roadway warning. Drivers should only be on the roadways if they feel it is necessary.
The Seneca County Sheriff issued a level 3 roadway warning Wednesday afternoon, which has since been lifted. Under the level 3 warning, all roadways were closed to non-emergency personal. Anyone else driving may have been subject to arrest.
The sheriff says flooding and debris on roadways is making it difficult to travel.
Roadway warnings are usually reserved for snowy and icy conditions, but the sheriff feels the roads are so littered and flooded it was necessary to issue the warning.
